Your paper should be prepared according to AIAA Author Kit Guidelines. Please note that the paper can be no longer than 11 pages single column format because this is a student competition. Competition papers (undergraduate, master's) may have up to two authors and list a faculty advisor as co-author.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) sponsors the annual student conference as a means of encouraging students in aerospace and related fields to discuss research, exchange knowledge, and generate interest in the field of aerospace engineering. Papers are solicited for the annual AIAA Region VI (Western Region) Student Conference to be held at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona from Thursday 25 March through Saturday 27 March 2010.

We are now accepting all research papers from Undergraduates, Graduates, or even Teams (groups of students) conducting research in fields related to the Aerospace Industry. Monetary prizes are $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd, and $250 for 3rd. Individual papers shall have no more than two student authors or one student and one faculty advisor as the second author. If there is one undergraduate and one graduate student, the paper shall be presented in the master’s category.
